Attack of the Dandelions

This is just something you have to see to believe... . As you can see we had a huge attack of dandelions. we think the people who owned it previously must not have cared that there was no longer any grass growing only a large field of weeds. We have been battling them back with bottle after bottle of weed killer. After we killed off the first round JT loved mowing them all over, but unfortunately the next round of weeds came shortly after. So its off to the store for more weed killer. We hope that in the not too distant future we will have grass instead of weed stumps.

Our First Garden

Here's just a look at our garden that we are attempting to grow. these are our sad little strawberry plants than we hope wont die off completely. the first signs of our bean plant Our broccoli got a little dried out just before this picture was taken but are doing great now! We have lots of onions in our garden. tomatoes with cucumber and a zucchini in the back Little baby pepper plants and the chives. We also planted carrots, peas, potatoes and cilantro

Motorcycle Girl!

As many of you know Kaylin is a little dare devil at heart. Well dad loves it and is always introducing her to more adventure. She now loves to ride on the dirt bike, it's her special green motorcycle!

Easter 2012

We had a very good but low key Easter this year. The day started out with Kaylin having a great time hunting for eggs in the living room pleased to find that some of them had a piece of candy in it. After getting ready for the day we went off to church which was followed after by nap time! And then for dinner we used the trees we had cut down in our backyard the day before to make a campfire to roast hot dogs on. They we're delicious and Kaylin liked them so much she did a little dance around the fire with her ketchup face. It was super cute!
