PA day 15- 19+

Day 15 and 16 we spent some much needed time with Grama Pama. The girls even got to have a sleep over at her house while JT and I went to see West Side Store at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival.

the girls loved taking pictures of gramas pets while we were gone.

Day 18 was more fun with family and another sailing trip in before we go.

Day 11 :  The Sunny Day

This was a beautiful sunny day with lots of fun in the sand and waves.  We swam in both ocean and hotel pool and ended with a walk down the board walk to a "Beatles" concert in the park that was just amazing!

Day 12:  More fun in the sun!

JT and I started with a bike ride down the board walk

Building sand castles

Day 13:  The Storm

Our 3rd day at the shore we rose and went down to a surprisingly empty beach. Notice there is no one around.  Part way in it began to sprinkle on us but we were having such a great time it didn't matter. And then we heard it... the boom! Thunder was coming which means lighting. And when there's lightning you don't want to be the only "rod" on the beach. Yikes! So we quickly packed up and hurried back to the hotel as the rain started pouring.

At the hotel the storm came rushing in knocking out the power and launching chairs over the pool deck. Glad we didn't park there.

Even with the storm and power out we had a great day. And we had a beautiful show of lighting out over the ocean.

 Day 14: The Windy Day

After the storm the day before we were eager for some sun. The beach was extremely windy but the waves for boogie boarding were great. At some point we also rented a surrey bike which JT crashed twice because he wanted to test out its max speed. And I had to yell at the poor people on the side walk to run for their life because just like his son, Poppy was a speed racer too! HAHA it was so fun.

One last dip in the pool

After we packed up we headed to the the light house.

We all had such a great time at the shore. Thanks Poppy!!!
