Lexi Rolled Over!

Alexis rolled over for the first time today! I had just changed her diaper and went upstairs to get her a new change of clothes when I came down to her reaching for a toy.  She had already swung a leg over and so I ran for my camera and waited!  Then after just a couple minutes she did it! Here it is her very first time rolling over!!!!

Halloween

Happy Halloween!

We finally carved pumpkins this year, Kaylin did not want to touch the gooey insides.



Jt went to work as a ninja turtle and his group won first place!





And Kaylin went as Rapunzel.  She had a great time trick or treating!

3 Years Old

Our Kaylin is a big 3 years old now!

We had a fun party for her with a few friends.


We played lots of fun Micky Mouse games.  First the minnie baloon pop to find a treasure map.

Oh Deer!

Two Saturdays ago the girls and I were enjoying a day at the library. They have a great kids area away from the rest of the library where the kids can play and color and watch shows.  We were having a great time and picking out our new collection of books when I realized I had 6 missed calls from JT.  We raced home to make sure all was well from his day out hiking and came home to a DEER!  He finally got his deer and Kaylin was so excited! Jt ans i couldnt stop laughing at all the funny things she kept saying and giggling about "oh its beautiful dad!"  "mom looks at its funny tongue" "oh daddy did you give her that big ouchy?"  "oh shes going to be so tasty!!!"all the while bouncing around with a big smile on.

A Brand New Dress

Here's the new Princess Belle dress I made for Kaylin. Isn't it cute!







I'm making her a Rapunzel dress from Tangled for her birthday that she will wear for Halloween. I'm really excited for that one because it will have a bit more detail that will be really fun.  So make sure to check back after Halloween! 

Smiles and Stomach Flu

Our October started out with new smiles and the stomach flu. Poor Kaylin was one of the many kids in our area to get the stomach flu. She felt terrible and really did not want me taking pictures of her.



 So instead I turned to Alexis and was able to catch her cute new smiles on camera!

Learning Time

Now that we've adjusted a bit more to having Alexis, Kaylin and I are starting up her preschool learning time again.  We've already been working on counting and now we're adding in the ABC's. Also I've been trying to find new creative ways for Kaylin to play, it been a lot of fun.







She's also learning how to ride her trike. I caught her on video riding for the first time.

Fairy Kaylin

Kaylin has been loving Tinkerbell and all her pixy hollow friends. So yesterday I made a fairy costume for Kaylin. It took me all day but it was worth it! She was so excited to see it this morning that she had to try it on and go out and play in it. She is so cute in it. I was really happy how it turned out considering my sewing machine decided that it couldn't sew the fleece. Maybe I just don't know what settings to put it on yet. Well anyways here's how it turned out

Our Little Fish

Kaylin is loving the freedom of learning how to swim on her own. This is only her 2nd time ever on her own. Isn't she doing great!

Our Garden is Growing!

Our garden is growing! Yay!!! We went out this morning to check on the garden and i think everything grew a foot taller over night. Everything is looking good except one of our poor cucumber plants that mysteriously died and shriveled away and our peppers that unfortunately don't get enough sun during the day. we are getting really excited to start tasting all our hard work.

 Kaylin always loves coming outside and checking on the garden, but especially with her dad.
