Our Frosty Christmas

Our Christmas season got off to a "delectrifying" start. It was christmas eve and we were enjoying a movie in our living room, when in mid laugh all of a sudden things went black! "AHHHHH!" "What happened?" "whats going on?" Shouts rang out throughout the apartment complex. we had lost our power. after locating flashlights we bundled up and went to bed. we woke up all three of us huddled in bed in a freezing apartment. it had dropped about 15 degrees in the night and still no power. after multiple calls to the power company for updates we finally had power again around 11:00. We were so grateful to be warm again and had fun opening presents and getting some warm brakefast in us finally. The rest of our christmas was fairly uneventful with fun just spending time together and phone calls with all of you. We are ending the night with a big Christmas feast a movie and some hot coco. tomorrow we will be making the drive once again to twin falls to pick up our big christmas present for the year (thank you to those involved!) a very fancy canon rebel camera. we will enjoy bringing all of you more pictures and videos of our family featuring the ever so cute Kaylin.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! Well this will be Kaylin's first Christmas ever. We are so excited to share it with her and have dad (JT) home for a long weekend from work. We are sad however because we wont be able to spend the holidays with the rest of our family. It certainly feels very different without being surrounded by all our family but we are excited to see you when we do. We'll miss the big meals, opening presents together, hanging stockings, and reading the Christmas stories together. We hope that even though we wont be with you this time of year that you know we are still thinking of you and hope that you can feel of our spirit. We are happy to celebrate the birth of Christ and hope that all of you have a merry Christmas! We love you all.
